Alison FlemingAlison Fleming is an award winning journalist who has been with UTV for the past 12 years.

In that time she has produced and presented UTV Life, and is now one of the main anchors of the channel’s flagship news programme UTV Live at Six.

She has also made a number of programmes including a documentary about a WW2 Plane crash which won Gold at the ITV News group awards in London

Alison got a degree in Irish History and Politics from the University of Ulster, before completing a journalism post grad course.

Alison began her career freelancing for a number of media outlets including Downtown, the Belfast Telegraph and Greer Publications, before joining UTV in 1998.

Alison lives in Holywood County Down with her husband and three children – Annie, Finn and Kitty.

The only hobby she has time for at the moment is running – she has completed the Paris Half Marathon and has taken part in the Belfast Marathon.
