Emma Louise Johnston 2008 CSEmma-Louise is an experienced freelance TV presenter, reporter and producer. She studied at Queen’s University, Belfast and did a Masters’ in European law at the University of Ulster.

Emma-Louise worked for Reuters as a junior reporter then at ITN and Channel 7 news, Australia as a broadcast journalist before becoming one of the UK’s youngest correspondents with GMTV.

She was the Ireland correspondent for three years before being moved to Manchester to cover the north of England, Scotland and Ireland. Her GMTV assignments were wide and varied and included interviews with Leonardo de Caprio, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Kofi Annan, as well as covering the harrowing story of Ken Bigley daily to the nation from outside the family’s Liverpool home. She has also presented two series of Getaways for BBC NI.

Emma-Louise recently took the plunge and is now a freelance TV presenter and reporter.

She has proved a popular host at many events including fashion shows, travel events, photographic exhibitions and covered London Fashion week and the Elle style awards, as well as guest speaking to youth groups.

Emma-Louise was born in Northern Ireland and has returned to live there again.

Her interests include fashion, travel, education and socialising.
