Amy McGuckin

Amy is presenter on the hugely popular Q radio breakfast show, broadcasting every weekday morning 6-10am. She has been at Q radio for a year and a half and is well known for being front and centre of their outdoor broadcasts, whether that is opening the Belfast Christmas Market or in the centre of a sporting pitch with a microphone, chatting to the crowd and getting them hyped up at half time.

Amy also has experience hosting events and is pictured here hosting the SWOT fashion show at Queens University and on a judging panel for a charity Strictly Come Dancing in Belfast.

Amy has a keen interest in food and even has her own food blog @sipsandtips_  on Instagram where she documents home cooking as well as new hot spots she's visited and wants to recommend around Northern Ireland as well as on her travels.

This year Amy is the charity ambassador for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland and is promoting their Mourne 7 Peak and twin summit challenge for them in June and will be speaking and taking part on the day.

Both on Q radio and on social media, Amy is often chatting about food, fitness, travel or of course dogs as she loves her puppy Hugo and is often a topic of conversation on the show!
