Country Hall of Fame star Susan McCann is one of Irish country music’s most enduring stars.

From the beginning of her career in 70’s ceili and old-time bands singing songs like Bridie Gallagher’s ‘A Mother’s Loves a Blessing’, Susan’s big breakthrough came in 1977 with her number 1 hit ‘Big Tom is Still the King’. This laid the foundation for a career spanning over five decades and producing a huge body of recorded songs, over 650 at the last count.

Throughout her glittering career, she has toured the world playing renowned venues, Carnegie Hall, The Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood, The Royal Albert Hall and many more. She has sung for Presidents and concert audiences around the world, whilst remaining a firm favourite throughout her native Ireland.
